Programme to include Songs by Madeleine Dring, Rebecca Clarke, Saint-Saens, Bizet & Sondheim - something for everyone.

Originally titled "Love alone will stay", Edward Elgar set this beautiful poem, written by his wife Alice, to music. She later reworked the verses with more illusions to the sea for it to be included (more famously) in Edward Elgar's song cycle "Sea Pictures".
